SINOPSYS
The newly made puppet, Chili, is a young clown lady who begins her life in a colorful circus world which is full of artists, performers, animals, spectacular freaks and other interesting creatures. As a newcomer she struggles with challenges, but determined and resilient to find her place, make friends, seek a purpose, a career, love...as a woman alone in the strange new world. Giselle the fortune teller, becomes her best friend and rock, assisting her in figuring out the future steps. She gets into bad and worse situations with every decision she makes and blames the universe for it, not realizing that she is spot on, as she is merely a pawn in the middle of the game of celestials. Three divine beings, Random, Common Sense and Desire control reality. As a reality show…where you can interfere and change the path and vote what happens next. They enjoy watching her learn from the mistakes she makes instead of letting her find her happiness through an easy path. The series follows a journey of self-discovery through the character of Chili. The planned ten episodes of the season each cover a topic ranging from self-discovery to the capability of building healthy relationships. These topics include setting priorities, handling communication differences, sexual conformity, self-doubt, the challenges of having an in-law, sharing a place with someone, facing discrimination based on being disabled, seeing your ex at work and most importantly, getting a hold on your own fate. How can we assert our independence while we want to build relationships and focus on our careers? I would like to show how as a woman has to face everyday problems to the deeper psychological insecurity questions. As a grown-up woman I am still facing all these problems, and I am sure I am not alone. I moved to the colourful and diverse Canada in 2013 by myself where I wanted to start a new life, finding a career, the perfect love and discover myself. For sure this is a long journey, and I often feel that the universe is against me... This story is mainly for young and adults. It tells all these stories during the episodes in a frivolous and sarcastic way to recognise ourselves and be able to laugh at our own clumsiness.
