Zsofia Opra-Szabo is a film maker and theatre designer originally from Hungary, Budapest. She completed her second master in Theatre Design at the University of Alberta in 2015. During her degree, she also began working on her own art project which is an experiment to explore the borders between theatre, fine art, film and puppetry. Her stop-motion animation shorts Sophia and Tango Through Life and AquaREEL garnered awards at numerous film festivals. Currently she creates film, and video projects, theatre and installations.
